Meet MACK! Mack and his brother Riot were rescued from a very bad situation in Georgia. They were 2 of 9 English pointers that were left to starve and die after a hunter no longer wanted to "fool with them" A wonderful lady in the area stopped by and fed the dogs for weeks. Finally the owner turned them over to her and she in turn called the Pointer Rescue Organization who took all of them but 2. Mack was 25 pounds underweight and scared. He has gained weight is doing well. He can sit on command. He is an outdoor dog as of now. He is about 6 years old. He is neutered and up to date on shots. Adoption requirements for our foster dogs are a large fenced in backyard or rural acreage. We will not allow any of our dogs to be on a tie out or chain. Applications must be filled out online before any adoptions will be approved. Adoption fees are $100.00 which includes spay/neuter, rabies vaccine, core vaccines, flea treatment and de-wormer. Please consider your new family member very carefully before adopting any animal. You must be dedicated to this new pet since they have been thrown away once and deserve a permanent, happy home.
